Pro-Unlife Picketers Get Picky

In breaking news, it appears that there is unrest among the undead; zombies have appeared inside of the village limits during the day! Many zombies have been spotted carrying picket signs or chunks of their own rotting flesh.
"Revenant are Relevant!" "Crypts are for Creepers!"

The zombies' out-cry for fair treatment has been linked to their dwindling supply of acceptable living space. Having been driven from the surface during the establishment of the Player Village, the zombies begrudgingly moved underground, under the strict arrangement that the Players were not to mine more than twelve meters below sea level. This code was to be upheld by the Home Owners Association.  However, the H.O.A has failed to enforce the policy in recent times, and it did not take long for the Players to start "pushing the envelope."

Not only did they assemble in mass at the town square,
they "knocked" on several doors throughout the village.
A key point of protest was the destruction of the mysterious
portal once housed in the town square.
As the village continued to expand, and the H.O.A. became lax, there was unrest amongst the wicked. Occasional prospecting trips on the part of the Players resulted in miner conflicts between the living and the not-so-living. In an effort to appease the walking dead, the town administrator constructed a portal in the town square which led to an uncharted frontier - a new place for the zombies to call home - that they would not have to share with creepers or endermen. As pleased as the zombies were to have this new land to settle and explore, they wanted to stay connected to their relatives nearby, so many opted to stay underground rather than settling the realm of "A New Hope."
Even zombies need a bath occasionally
"free water for all."

The final straw for the zombies was when the portal was destroyed, leaving the colonists stranded and separated from the main settlement. The voice believed  to have shaken the zombies into action is that of the  powerful grunts and growls (words) of Zombie Luther King Jr.

Translated by Dasnar Vientus.

"We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of the earth's surface. We must allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soulless force... as evidenced by their presence here today, we have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny and their 'freedom' [from living. DV] is inextricably bound to our freedom. We cannot walk alone."

"As we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall march ahead. We cannot turn back. There are those who are asking the devotees of Zombie rights, 'When will you be satisfied?' We can never be satisfied as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of decay, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highlands and the hotels of the Player Village...No, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls over like death and decay flows like leprous flesh."

...

"I have a dream that one day this horde will rise up and undeath out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created, and re-created equal."

"I have a dream that one day on the orange hills of PumkinOpolis, the sons of former villagers and the sons of former players will be able to sit down together at a table of brains."

"I have a dream today."
